Michele Carey, the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr the doctor, and Thelma Henson who was the housewife who was born Michele Lee Henson on February 26th, 1942, at Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. In her teens she became an expert in piano playing and was the winner of a national competition at the Chicago Music Festival when she was just 13 years old. Fort Collins High School, which was where she completed her high school education in 1960, was the place that her family moved to.
